Agility

Agility is full at present, anyone wishing to be considered should put their name down on the waiting list with Jeta on a Sunday morning.

Agility first began at the club back in 1977. In 1978 L.G.S.D & A.B.T.S sent their own team consisting of 5 members to demonstrate agility for the first time in the main ring at crufts. This of course was a huge success, and plus the fact that the wagging tails indicated a high measure of canine enjoyment told us that this now official dog sport would not die and would become a world - wide dog activity enjoyed by dogs and their owners in the thousand.

To celebrate 30 years of agility we held a show on 29th and 30th of September 2007. We had presentations for founder members and thanks from Kenneth Tatsch president of the US dog agility, Mayor of Lincoln and The Kennel Club. It was a very successful show with over 5,770 entries.

Agility training is held on the following:

  • Summer time training - Thursdays 6.30 to 8pm
  • Winter time training - Saturdays 2.30 to 4pm
  • If you are interested in agility training, please contact Jeta on a Sunday morning, to discuss your dog's requirements prior to attending.
