Heelwork to Music
This will not be running for the foreseeable future, due to ill health.
This is a great discipline to get involved in - it will strengthen the bond between dog and handler by doing fun tricks and moves, along with balance and body awareness. There are two main classes to the sport and we will be training both of them. More in depth than just showcasing tricks, you will learn how to put them together and start a routine with a view to getting involved in the sport. Yu will also work on a lot of front attention and ring practise. You can also join our DANCING DOG DEMO TEAM who travel to lots of fun shows and big events to showcase the sport.
We will also be doing Freestyle tricks training, for those interested, at the same time. Emma Yardley will be taking th classes. She has been involved in the sport for many years, working her dogs at the advanced level and travelling across the county competing. You can just enjoy learning some cool moves to impress your friends and family and then perhaps beg bitten by the bug and join in the sport.
If you are interested in starting either of the above, please ask in the hut on a Sunday morning or phone Emma on 01529 497015.
